My getAbstract Personal Experience

I had never heard about book summary apps until I went on vacation to Greece in July 2021. I was reading The Art Of Thinking Clearly by Rolf Dobelli and I was really impressed. When I did some research, I realized that he had created an app called getAbstract which offered summaries of many different books. I subscribed immediately and I’ve been using it ever since.

Some of the books I have bought I have since bought after listening to the summary are

  • Influence by Robert Cialdini
  • The Lean Startup by Eric Ries
  • Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman

Should You Buy getAbstract?

Bottom line – it is a decision of investment vs return. I personally think that if you are an avid reader, or want to start reading more books to improve professionally or just for personal development, getAbstract is definitely worth the investment.

I have used it , and I think it has saved me a lot of time, and money, in addition to introducing me to new book summaries that I would not have necessarily found on my own.

getAbstract is like the Ferrari of book summary apps.

Is getAbstract worth it? If you can pay $25 or so a month, the answer to the question ‘Is getAbstract worth my time and money’ – YES, absolutely!

But you don’t have to take my word for it. Try it yourself, for FREE.
